Our Name and Logo
The name of our company represents everything we are - leaders and forward-thinkers. The term "Vanguard" literally means a group of people that lead the way in new developments and new ideas. This is the ethos of our company and something we believe in wholeheartedly.
Combining Vanguard and Solutions is a simple two word statement of our aims - we come with new ideas and we use them to solve our clients' needs.
Significance of the Logo
In 2000, when Vanguard Solutions was established, Australia was in the grips of Olympic fever. Sydney was hosting the games and there was a lot of excitement and anticipation about what was to come. This mood reflected the feelings we were experiencing while planning the future of our new company.
As part of the build up to the games, the Olympic torch relay was run around Australia. One of our founders joined the crowds to see the torch and was hit with the inspiration for our logo. The torch was leading the way, providing inspiration for the world. As the visual representation of our company, we wanted to create something equally as significant. We decided on a flame nestled into a strong V, surrounded by the the five stars of the Southern Cross - one of the most iconic representations of our country. The V is blue for Vanguard Solutions and green for Vanguard Enviro.
Our logo reminds us of our past and reaffirms our future.
